Hardy, gentle, and iconic cattle that are well-suited for the New England climate, offer reliable calving, and are known for tender, well-textured beef. They are excellent for rotational grazing and farms with rough land.

 Hardy beef cattle known for mild temperament and strong maternal instincts, these cows are naturally polled (meaning they have no horns) and have a smaller stature, making them ideal for a small, beginner homestead. 

 While less docile than the Highlands and Galloways, these dairy cattle are still very manageable and are known for their high-quality milk and excellent butterfat, strong maternal instincts, and efficient forage-based milk production.
